Yes. BioTradX supports multi-role access. You can switch between Seller, Buyer, and Affiliate roles at any time by going to Account → Profile Information → Role. Each role requires its own verification, but no separate login is needed. Even if you are registered as a Seller, you can still post RFQs and buy materials, allowing flexibility to trade in multiple roles on the platform.
BioTradX uses a secure escrow-based payment system to protect both buyers and sellers. Payments are held securely based on the agreed terms. If an upfront payment is selected, it is collected first, and the remaining amount is released after delivery, quality confirmation, and trade completion by both parties. All payment activity can be tracked in the Payments Dashboard under Dashboard, where users can view upcoming payments and complete transaction history for full transparency.
An RFQ (Request for Quotation) is used by buyers to invite price and supply offers from verified sellers for a specific material, quantity, and location. On BioTradX, RFQs help buyers discover competitive pricing, ensure material availability, and engage only with relevant, verified suppliers. To create an RFQ: Log in to your BioTradX account, Go to Buy → Create RFQ, Select the product and specify quantity, delivery/pickup location, and preferred price (if any), Add quality check requirements and delivery terms, Submit the RFQ. Once submitted, matching verified sellers can send quotes, which you can review and negotiate before confirming the trade. For step-by-step instructions, see the Guides & Playbooks section under Resources.
A Sell Listing allows sellers to offer available materials directly to verified buyers on the platform with clear pricing, quantity, and terms. Creating a listing helps you reach active buyers quickly while maintaining transparency and quality standards. To create a sell listing: Log in to your BioTradX account, Go to Sell → Create Listing, Select the product, available quantity, unit, and price, Add pickup/delivery details, quality information, and payment terms, Publish the listing. Your listing will be visible to nearby and relevant buyers, who can either place orders or send negotiation requests. Detailed guidance is available in the Guides & Playbooks section under Resources.
